Congratulations to Marco Palmieri, winner of the 11 Second Club April Competition! There were a ton of excellent entries this month, but Marco's clever interpretation of the audio clip and entertaining acting choices pushed him to the top!

Experience: 12 years in commercial animation.

Time taken: Nights, weekends, lunch breaks...any free moment I had. About 40 hours total.

I am a 10-year veteran of this crazy biz, and have a dozen or so years of acting training. I left university part way through my acting major because I saw Toy Story and i knew that this would be the best acting gig EVER. :) So I had to switch gears (and schools), and go through an art major, followed up by graduate education in Computer Animation at Sheridan College.

Since I got into animation, I have worked on games, commercials, television shows, dvd movies, feature films, and mentoring at Animation Mentor.

The eCritique® tool is an innovative key element in the Animation Mentor program. Each week, a professional mentor will provide their students with a newly recorded video critique on their weekly animation assignment. This provides valuable insight, feedback and suggestions on ways to improve students’ weekly assignments and animation skills.
