BRET PARKER

Bret Parker's first job as an animator was at Pixar. Bret always loved animation, but never realized how much sense it made to her until she started to work at Pixar as a production assistant. Many aspects of animation shared commonalities with her background in theatre and dance which inspired her to make the transition from a production assistant to an animator at Pixar. Bret has worked on many of the Pixar films from Toy Story 2 to Ratatouille. She was the memorable voice for Kari the babysitter in The Incredibles. Bret is currently a full time animator at Pixar and a mentor at AnimationMentor.com.

The eCritique® tool is an innovative key element in the Animation Mentor program. Each week, a professional mentor will provide their students with a newly recorded video critique on their weekly animation assignment. This provides valuable insight, feedback and suggestions on ways to improve students’ weekly assignments and animation skills.
