Congratulations to Kevin Rucker, winner of the 11 Second Club March Competition! There were a ton of excellent entries this month, but Kevin's entry won over the voters with its subtle facial animation and solid read on the audio. We encourage everyone to check out all the great work that was done this month!

MIKE BELZER

Mike was born into the puppet world of stop motion animation at the age of twelve. He has worked as an animator on such films as Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach. For the last eight years he has moved over in the computer world working at both Pixar Animation Studios and Disney Feature Animation, here he has worked on numerous commercials and such films as Walt Disney's Dinosaur and Kangaroo Jack. He is currently the animation supervisor on the upcoming Disney film A Day with Wilbur Robinson and works as a mentor at AnimationMentor.com.

The eCritique® tool is an innovative key element in the Animation Mentor program. Each week, a professional mentor will provide their students with a newly recorded video critique on their weekly animation assignment. This provides valuable insight, feedback and suggestions on ways to improve students’ weekly assignments and animation skills.
