Congratulations to Bart Bossaert, winner of the 11 Second Club April Competition! The quality of work with the sound effects this month was super high, and it was a close finish at the end, but the detailed polish and super clear performance in Bart's entry pushed it to the top!

Mario Pochat has animated for the Game Cinematics Amped III and Need for Speed: The Most Wanted. He's also worked on feature films such as Dr Dolittle, Garfield II: A Tale of 2 Kitties, Ben Stiller war comedy Tropic Thunder, a Lead Animator for the MTV-Award winning Blades of Glory, and Nutcracker: The Untold Story. Currently Mario is developing more high quality episodes for "Marcelino and Bartolomeo: Bye-Bye!" and mentoring students at Animation Mentor.

The eCritique® tool is an innovative key element in the Animation Mentor program. Each week, a professional mentor will provide their students with a newly recorded video critique on their weekly animation assignment. This provides valuable insight, feedback and suggestions on ways to improve students’ weekly assignments and animation skills. In addition to viewing their own critiques, students may also view the critiques of their peers, learning from their mistakes and successes as well.
