Congratulations to Jim Kachelries, winner of the 11 Second Club August Competition! There were a lot of great entries this month, but Jim's entry won over the voters with its great body mechanics and believable performance.

VICTOR NAVONE

Victor Navone has been working as an animator for Pixar Animation Studios since 2000, and has worked on films such as Monster, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, WALL-E, Toy Story 3, and co-directed a series of Cars Toons shorts for TV. 

Victor Navone is currently a directing animator for Cars 2 and a mentor at Animation Mentor.
 
 
 
 
What is an eCritique?
The eCritique® tool is an innovative key element in the Animation Mentor program. Each week, a professional mentor will provide their students with a newly recorded video critique on their weekly animation assignment.  This provides valuable insight, feedback and suggestions on ways to improve students’ weekly assignments and animation skills. In addition to viewing their own critiques, students may also view the critiques of their peers, learning from their mistakes and successes as well.
