	LOCATION: OTTAWA, ON, CANADA Congratulations to Lauren Andersson, winner of the 11 Second Club December Competition! It was a close contest this month, but Lauren captivated voters with her super smooth 2d animation and her solid interpretation of the dialogue performance. We encourage everyone to check out all the great work that was done this month!


	MARK BEHM Mark has been working in the animation industry for over 8 years. After a childhood of studying stop motion and traditional animation and a few years as an illustrator, he set off into the world of 3D animation. He started out focusing on character work in his local NYC commercial market, then onto "321:Penguins" at Big Idea Productions, "Robots" at Blue Sky Studios and DNA Productions, and is now at PDI / Dreamworks and currently a mentor at Animation Mentor. What is an eCritique?

The eCritique® tool is an innovative key element in the Animation Mentor program. Each week, a professional mentor will provide their students with a newly recorded video critique on their weekly animation assignment. This provides valuable insight, feedback and suggestions on ways to improve students’ weekly assignments and animation skills. In addition to viewing their own critiques, students may also view the critiques of their peers, learning from their mistakes and successes as well.
