	ANDREW CHESWORTH LOCATION: BURBANK, CALIFORNIA Congratulations to Andrew Chesworth, winner of the 11 Second Club December Competition! There were a lot of great entries this month, but Andrew's entry won over the voters with its wonderful mood, great staging and strong poses!


	FEATURED MENTOR JAY JACKSON Jay considers himself a traditional animator at heart ... and this could stem from his proudly training under Eric Larson - one of Disney's famed "Nine Old Men." Jay's career spans 30 years and includes stops at Walt Disney Animation Studios, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Imageworks and Rhythm & Hues Studios. He is particularly fond of his work on Sebastian in *The Little Mermaid* and the entire gorilla family in *Tarzan*. Jay is currently a freelancer on television commercials and educational projects.

What is an eCritique?

The eCritique® tool is an innovative key element in the Animation Mentor program. Each week, a professional mentor will provide their students with a newly recorded video critique on their weekly animation assignment. This provides valuable insight, feedback and suggestions on ways to improve students’ weekly assignments and animation skills. In addition to viewing their own critiques, students may also view the critiques of their peers, learning from their mistakes and successes as well.
