Manuel Menendez is an Animation Mentor graduate, Peer Buddy, Student Showcase award winner … and someone who definitely knows how to enter a room.

In his Showcase-winning shot, Manu obviously looked to push his animation even further. To begin, he tried to film his own reference and then resourced some good old-fashioned 2D animatic tests. But once he found the perfect dialogue — things fell into place.

And throughout his shot development, one thing thankfully remained a constant — the passion and inspiration he received from the entire Animation Mentor community.
