VFX Fundamentals

Inaugural Summer 2013 Term

Now Accepting Applications

Apply Early for Your Choice of Mentor and Class Time
The VFX Fundamentals is a series of three 12-week courses — CG Basics, Lighting Basics, and Compositing Basics — taught by industry professional lighters and compositors from Pixar Animation Studios, DreamWorks Animation, Weta Digital, and Industrial Light & Magic. Important: Classes fill fast, so be sure to apply early to ensure your choice of industry professional instructor and class time.

Learn Industry Standard Software
Throughout the VFX curriculum, you use industry-specific software such as NUKE, KATANA, and MARI from The Foundry. You also enjoy special access to the Arnold renderer from Solid Angle. This cutting-edge software — exclusive only to studios — is quickly becoming the industry standard. This access allows you to jump start your training by learning the software the studios use.
