Enroll in Our New Pilot Classes

by | Nov 19, 2012

There’s a common thread that links all animated shots.

Storytelling.

When you combine acting, appeal, and story — the result is something pure and entertaining. Strive to embrace and harness these ingredients. Think back to the last animated film that really touched you … and notice how the art and craft of storytelling drew you in. In that moment, the barrier between audience, actor, director, and animator was lowered. You were connected by the art of storytelling.

Now, you must ask: What’s your next story? Answer for yourself during our upcoming Winter 2013 term … and be one of the first to enroll in our two exciting new pilot classes and transform yourself into a better storyteller:

Introduction to Character and Storytelling — Pilot
Starts Wednesday, January 2, 2013 | $1,099 + $75 Registration Fee
The class is all about dialogue and the art of creating a story from scratch. Under the mentorship of Dana Masson (The Wild, Rolie Polie Olie), you learn how to develop your own story and gain the skills necessary to pitch a story. You also learn to develop a two-character dialogue shot. This exciting new pilot class is the fusion — and next iteration — of our Advanced Acting and Story Pre-Production classes.

Animal and Creature Animation Basics — Pilot
Starts Wednesday, January 2, 2013 | $1,099 + $75 Registration Fee
This is where you focus on the fundamentals of kinetic, storytelling and animation. You learn real studio workflows and collaborate on an action sequence with your class under the direction and mentorship of Nicole Herr (Iron Man 2, Green Lantern).

These programs are open to the public and space is limited — submit your demo reel and register today to take advantage of our low Winter 2013 pilot pricing.
