What Eddie’s Students are Saying
Eddie Rocks!
Eddie is a great mentor and I’m very lucky to be studying with him this semester! He’s very knowledgable in the animation industry and is dedicated to being a reliable resource for everyone in his class. He wants us to succeed and his teaching method and interaction with the class shows that. I do think that when he is showcasing live maya demos in the Q&A, he can sometimes get so caught up in the work that he’ll forget to explain what he’s doing at times, but besides that, Eddie rocks!
An Outstanding Mentor
Eddie is such an awesome mentor, he is always ready with some interesting shoots to discuss, his feedback is spot on, as well as very detailed. The Q&As are always a spotlight of my week because I learned so much from what he has to share, overall he is an outstanding mentor and an awesome person, keep up the work Eddie 🙂
I Feel So Much Better About My Skills
Just seeing the way he thinks about body mechanics gives me a whole new perspective on body mechanics myself. I’ve started thinking about it different than before, and I have a much better understanding of weight-shifts, silhouette, LoA, etc. I can’t express how valuable Eddie’s insight has been this term. There is such a dramatic difference between how I “understood” animation before this term and how much I understand now. I feel sooo much better about my skills, thanks to Eddie and AM.
Upstanding Guy and a Great Mentor
Eddie is a great guy! He really puts in the time for each of his students and works to make sure we walk away from each assignment in it’s best form possible. He doesn’t shy away from questions and is more than happy to review animation previous work of ours even if we’ve moved onto the next assignment. Overall, he’s an upstanding guy and a great mentor!
Just Brilliant
Just great feedback on assignment critiques, things I just haven’t seen! invaluable insights on my work that I can work on. Q&A’s – have been really interesting, packed with information, examples of actual work flow to give an understanding of the level of finish required to attain professional level animation. just brilliant, thanks Eddie
