Ethan Hurd is a great mentor and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that has the opportunity to do so. Good humored as a person and clear cut in his feedback. He will let you know what you need to hear and I can appreciate that.

Well prepared Q&As, Ethan makes himself super available for his students (for mid critics, moral support, every question we may have, etc …) Definitely Ethan has made this Class 3 very comforting with pertinent and well explained critics about what was wrong and how to improve it. He always gave tips and explained to us his way of working in the industry.

I find Ethan’s Q&A’s very helpful, straight to the point, and well explained. He is organized, prepared, his examples are clear and visual. He uses great references to show his points. He gives extra to answer questions and is attentive to students. I am very happy! Which is why I registered for AN03 with him as well!

The best mentor I’ve ever had so far in my opinion. Even if all mentors are great ! His courses are very complete and clear and he doesn’t hesitate to stay longer in the zoom call if needed. Joyful personality.

My mentor, Ethan Hurd, was phenomenal! He really pushed us to be better without insulting or degrading our work in any way. I could tell he was rooting for us to be the best animators we could be.

Ethan’s a great mentor! His eCritiques are always very helpful and easy to follow. His powerpoint presentations are always informative and he does a good job at showing pictures and videos that help explain what he’s talking about. I would definitely recommend him!

Ethan explains everything in a very understandable way. His critiques are precise and to the point and never make you feel like you can’t do it. Time and time again I find myself inspired by his teaching and demos. His years of experience also helps not be able to thwart him on any question thrown his way overall a wonderful mentor.
