Scott Farrell has been a professional animator since 2005 and is currently a character animator at Illumination. As a native New Yorker, he started his career at Blue Sky Studios working on the Ice Age franchise and Spies in Disguise. Scott created his own animated short film Bristled in 2018. Scott currently teaches Animation Basics, the first Core Character Animation Course at Animation Mentor.
