About Jay Jackson
Jay Jackson has been a professional animator since 1981. Jay had an illustrious career with Walt Disney Animation and studied under one of Disney’s “nine old men,” Eric Larson. He started as an assistant animator for the 1981 Disney classic, The Fox and the Hound and went on to animate in iconic films like the original The Little Mermaid, Hercules, and Tarzan. Jay has been a mentor at Animation Mentor since 2007 and currently teaches the 2D Animation courses.
