What Greg’s Students are Saying
The Perfect Mentor and Human
Greg is THE perfect mentor and human. His eCrits are very detailed and helpful. He never gives up to make his students better. For example, I sometimes forgot to do all topics he mentioned in an eCrits, then next week he didn’t hesitate to reiterate this again and he did it in a very gentle way. I hope I get the opportunity to study with him in future terms.
Clear, Straight Forward, and Approachable
I like Greg’s presentation style; clear, straight forward and approachable. Greg is careful to ensure all the classes get the same information, I have noticed this even in critiques and appreciate it. The feedback I receive in critiques is clear and enables me to improve my work a great deal from week to week.
Critiques are Awesome
Greg’s eCritiques are awesome. His tips and comments in them are helpful, clear and I feel my animations got better after applying them. He watches the assignment and prepares what to say before he starts recording the eCritique and that’s awesome. He also tries to upload the eCritique between Sunday/Monday and that’s perfect for planning the week. His Q&As are very helpful also, and very clear. He is ALWAYS very accessible to ask anything. He is not worried about the finishing time.
Lots of Demos
Great Mentor, super approachable, I think he just ended up being the mentor I needed. His critiques are very clear and detailed, you always know what needs to be fixed and how to fix it. The Q&A are great with a lot of demonstrations to explain how he does things and why.
Always Available and Informative Feedback
It’s been great having Greg as a mentor this term. He is happy to answer any questions that we may have and even makes himself available to answer questions during the week. He’s super quick getting his e-critiques completed and always with informative feedback. He’s always prepared for the Q&A’s with a demo ready to go in case we don’t have questions. He’s given us some very helpful animating tips and is happy to share his knowledge. I learn new useful things from him every week. Thanks Greg!
