What Marek’s Students are Saying
Incredible and I Really Recommend
Marek is an incredible mentor and a super easy going guy! I really enjoy how humble he is even being an amazingly talented animator. Something that stood out for me was the fact he likes to make sure how everyone is doing in the beginning of every Q&A, going one by one on every student, showing that he really cares . He also gave us some awesome demos showing his workflow that helped me a lot on how to improve my animation and workflow! I really recommend him for any future AM student!
Awesome Mentorship
Awesome mentorship. Marek is a really cool guy with a lot of info to offer. He’s got good classes. He always makes sure to talk to each student to see how they’re doing with their assignment each week, and his Q-As are full of new and helpful information.
Makes Sure Everyone Gets Involved
Marek is a great mentor, his Q&A’s are very informative and he makes sure everyone gets involved and has their questions answered. His critiques are detailed and to the point, it’s been great having him as my mentor, I’ve learned a lot from him.
Precise and Efficient Examples
Amazing teacher, gives spot-on and very helpful feedback for every submission and is readily available to help during the rest of the week. Classes are great too – he gives precise and efficient examples, both live action and animation, to make sure we remember things and can apply them easily.
Knows What He's Talking About
Marek clearly knows what he’s talking about and has a lot of experience in animation. Everything from the animation examples to the one-on-one was done well. He offers good advice on how we can improve our assignments and his critiques are really good. Also, he is really nice about it. He doesn’t bash us or anything of the sort. He is very kind about his comments on our work and I greatly appreciated that!
Instrumental in My Understanding of Timing and Spacing
Marek has been instrumental in my understanding of timing and spacing. He’s quick to explain things with examples from both live action and animated footage. I also appreciate how he just sketches as he teaches. He makes no pretense to show off his draftsmanship, which is certainly not in question, but instead just works quickly and honestly. There’s so much to be learned from him, whether it be listening to his lessons/critiques or merely observing him. I would recommend him without hesitation.
