You Get Live Instruction from an Industry Professional
This isn’t your typical classroom/lecture setting. Not at all. Around here, you receive live instruction directly from industry professionals (that’s right, real studio animators). Allow us to introduce you to your instructor for the summer:

John Nguyen
Animator, Sony Pictures Imageworks

John loves to bring characters to life … and to make people laugh. His list of credits certainly proves this to be true. Look for John’s work in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Evan Almighty, The Chronicles of Riddick, The Day After Tomorrow, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Treasure Planet, Little Nicky, Bless the Child, Mission to Mars, Bicentennial Man, Godzilla, Kull the Conqueror, Mimic, George of the Jungle, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Tron: Legacy, and Batman & Robin.

And did we mention that John will be your Maya workshop instructor?

You Get a Lot More, Too
You practice your new skills in labs conducted by Animation Mentor alumni. This is where you start the journey of bringing performances to life as a character animator. And you also receive a three-year active student account to the Autodesk® Education Community where you may access the Maya® animation software ($3,675 value).
