We are always adding new professional mentors to our school!

The Animation Mentor crew proudly, humbly, and excitedly welcomes two new pros to our mentor roster:

Mitja Rabar
Animator, Disney Animation Studios
Burbank, Calif.
Mitja is a busy man, having worked on commercials, video clips, theme park attractions, and video games. Today, you can see his work in Wreck-It Ralph, The Lorax, Despicable Me, and Impy’s Wonderland. Mitja joins us by way of Paris … and notes travel, climbing, video games, and Forrest Gump as some of his favorite things. Welcome to Animation Mentor, Mitja.

Brian Ward
Freelance Animator
Chicago, Ill.
Brian started his animation career in the Chicago area. There, he worked as a generalist on commercials for several years. Then he packed his bags and moved halfway around the world to Australia. He was quite busy in Australia as he worked for both Rising Sun Pictures and Weta Digital. Now he’s come full circle as he returns to Chicago. Brian’s credits include films: The Avengers, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Where the Wild Things Are, The Ruins, Get Smart, The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, Blood Diamond, and Charlotte’s Web; and game: The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.

Did you know that you can now log into our Registration Portal and choose your class time and mentor? Yup, we make it easy to plan a school schedule that works best for you. And thanks to the additions of Mitja and Brian, we have added to our mentor roster whose collective body of work includes your favorite animated big screen, TV, and video game characters. No matter what, you can’t choose wrong.

Once again, a big welcome to Mitja and Brian … and we can’t wait to see all of you on campus in our Character Animation Program.
